Funding application
You would like to introduce us to your request and want to know who can make an application, what you have to do for it and how the process is going?
Here you will find everything you need to know, as well as the application form for the respective foundation for download.

Only non-profit organizations are eligible to apply. If you need assistance as a private individual, please first contact a trusted aid organization, which can then submit an application on your behalf. This could be:
• Diakonia
• Caritas
• CJD
• Mobil mit Behinderung e.V.
• Lebenshilfe e.V.
• Red Cross
• other non-profit social services
• possibly your church community
Funding may only be used for statutory purposes. The projects and concerns must not violate legal prohibitions or violate common decency.
Applications must be submitted in writing either by email:

When applying, please submit the following documents in full:
• a detailed description of the project or concern
• proof of need, e.g. by means of a severely disabled person’s ID card or information about income
• a list of costs
• the current corporate tax exemption certificate of the non-profit organization

The board of the Ernst Prost Foundation usually decides on the application promptly.
If funding is approved by the Ernst Prost Foundation, the applicant will receive a written confirmation. This serves as a binding commitment for the approval of the project or request.
Please understand that no information regarding the status of the decision-making process can be provided over the telephone.
Applicants will be notified of approvals or rejections in writing or by telephone. Approvals may be subject to conditions. No reasons are given for rejections.
In the event of incorrect information regarding costs, if the funds are not used in accordance with the stated purpose, or if the Foundation's conditions are not met, the Foundation may withhold an approved grant in whole or in part or demand the return of a grant that has already been paid out.
The Ernst Prost Foundation is authorized to publicly accompany projects it has supported. Press and public relations work is conducted in coordination with the Ernst Prost Foundation and is generally anonymous.
In any case, we ask you to coordinate with us in advance if you have any media-relevant information about funding from the Ernst Prost Foundation!
