Ambassadors

The idea for a collaboration was born at a summer festival organized by Löwenkinder eV (Lion Children's Association) in Frankfurt/Oder. The association maintains a center of excellence for children with severe and life-shortening illnesses, which Schulz and the Ernst Prost Foundation are committed to.

Kerstin Thiele delivered a donation from the foundation at the time. "I thought that was really great, and after we met, I offered to set something up together in the future," explains Axel Schulz. A welcome offer. "There was no need to think twice," says Kerstin Thiele. They quickly agreed that he would serve as an ambassador for the Ernst Prost Foundation. "Axel Schulz is likeable, prominent, and still genuine – the ultimate in popular culture," the foundation manager describes him.

"Generating donations is difficult. With his charisma and fame, Axel Schulz is a welcome and great help." He used to let his fists fly. This made Axel Schulz one of Germany's most prominent athletes. His boxing gloves have long since hung up. Now he swings his golf clubs; he works for charity as often as possible or helps in other ways. "I've been very lucky in my life, and I want to share that with others who are less fortunate, especially children," explains the father of two. He doesn't care whether the projects are large or small. "Every child in need is worth supporting."

Marcel Noebels,

Ice hockey national player of the Eisbären Berlin

Marcel Noebels is one of the most successful German ice hockey players of his generation. Among other achievements, he won four championship titles with the Eisbären Berlin between 2021 and 2025. In addition to ice hockey, he is dedicated to another role: He is an official ambassador for the Ernst Prost Foundation. He took over this role from his former teammate Bruno Gervais after the French-Canadian finally hung up his skates in the summer of 2017. And so, "Bruno Helps!" became the "Noebi Helps!" campaign.

Marcel Noebels: "As a professional athlete, I have several advantages. I want to use this position to help people, especially children, who are less fortunate." And in life, it's like on the ice: With good teamwork, you achieve more. "That's why I want to continue the successful work of Bruno Gervais and support the Ernst Prost Foundation and the Straßenkinder eV association. Highly motivated and dedicated people are at work there, providing urgently needed help at Haus Bolle in Marzahn and elsewhere, even vital for some – even in a country as wealthy as Germany."

In addition to its cooperation with the Ernst Prost Foundation, “Noebi helps!” will contribute to the financing of special tasks of Straßenkinder eV (street children association) and, in its first year, presented a check for 5,000 euros directly to Straßenkinder eV and its director Eckhard Baumann.
