    ABOUT US

HelpUkraine.Center a grassroots initiative founded by Ukranian entrepreneurs Andriy Stavnitser, Vladyslav Chechotkin, Volodymyr Popereshnuk and Volodymyr Kostelman. It was created as a spontaneous reaction to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, and aims to give the Ukrainian civilian population access to humanitarian and medical supplies. Numerous Ukrainian as well as interna-tional companies and private individuals support the HelpUkraine.Center initiative in logistics warehouses in Poland and Romania voluntarily and free of charge in receiving, processing and purposeful forwarding of donations in kind sent to the Ukrainian popula-tion from Europe and around the world.

People for Peace – Peace for People Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in Leipheim, Germany. It was set up on February 1, 2019 by Ernst Prost, the former man-aging director of Liqui Moly GmbH, as endowment fund with no legal capacity within the Ernst Prost Foundation, which he founded as well. The Ernst Prost Foundation is a foun-dation with legal capacity under civil law according to §§ 80 and 81 of the BGB (German Civil Code), which primarily pursues social and charitable purposes within Germany. It was officially recognized by the foundation supervisory authority of the Swabian govern-ment in Augsburg on December 20, 2010.

    WHAT WE DO

It is with dismay and utmost concern that the Board of Directors of People for Peace - Peace for People Foundation has been following Russia's war of aggression on Ukraine, which has been raging since February 24, 2022. Driven by a strong desire to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian civilian population and strengthened by long-standing, trusting business and friendly relations between the parties involved, People for Peace - Peace for People Foundation without much hesitation decided  to support the volunteer initiative HelpUkraine.Center with its own financial, human and administra-tive resources. Since then, vital medical and humanitarian supplies such as medicines, wound care materials and equipment for rescue workers have been procured by the Foundation with funds collected from private individuals, companies and non-profit in-stitutions and delivered to the population in Ukraine via HelpUkraine.Center.

    WHAT WE DON’T DO

The acquisition of armaments and other militarily usable equipment with funds from the charitable  People for Peace - Peace for People Foundation is neither in accordance with the convictions and statutory purposes of the Foundation nor with German non-profit law.

Please understand that the foundation cannot accept donations designated for the procurement of items from the aforementioned categories.
